Hello!
Welcome to our first newsletter! Every fortnight from now on we’ll be sending you a quick note with a bit of news (upcoming workshops, new resources in the shop, that kind of thing), plus a few recommendations that we hope might inspire a bit of joy, inspiration and fun in the classroom (and beyond!).
This week we are travelling to both Kubby House Child care Centre in Cobar providing ECT support and to Bourke to assist their team with the development of a new service Philosophy. Its also book week and so much fun seeing the children dressing up and celebrating their favourite books!
And if you’re new to our world, here’s the elevator pitch; Concepts in Early Learning is committed to encouraging all educators to be proud of the work they do in the early childhood sector, to be inspired and learn to drive their own passions for seeking and developing new concepts to take to the classroom. LISTEN: We just love the Jack Johnson Kids playlist on spotify! It’s a chilled and fun way to start the day. We recommend this play list for arrival time and periods of the day where children are being creative and engaged
READ: It's Book Week!! Many of our friends are dressing up and celebrating books and a love of literacy this week. It's so much fun!!!! My all time favourite is A House for Hermit Crab by Eric Carle- we use a fun "Henry" the Hermit Crab puppet to tell this one. This is one of our story sets check it out on our website!
PLAY: Our beautiful new Song Cards were developed by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with EYLF in mind and we’re confident they’ll become a favourite part of your children’s daily learning routine!
